Paris-In late March, Alain Ducasse, 53, was inducted into the historic Musèe Grèvin (www.grevin.com), the Parisian wa xmuseum that's home to some 300 figures, ranging from Charles de Gaulle to Albert Einstein to Jimi Hendrix. Ducasse (right), dressed in whites and posed with one of his signature dishes, cocotte des lègumes, is on display next to his elder friend and fellow Michelin three-star chef, Paul Bocuse. The only other chef in the collection is Bernard Loiseau, who shot himself in 2003. Inducted at the same time as Ducasse were politician Simone Veil, actress and vintner Carole Bouquet, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and President Barack Obama. All told, it was not a bad week for Ducasse: a few days before his Grèvin debut, his wife, GwènaÎlle, gave birth to a son-her first child, his second-whom the couple named Arzhel.
